ATI Pharmacology Practice A
During this ATI assessment, I was definitely struggling with a lot of the medication names as there were quite a few I did not know, as well as adverse effects that I did not know. This is difficult and frustrating as I am feeling nervous and defeated as we get closer to the NCLEX. I am fearful that I will not remember all of these medications and all of the odd adverse effects associated. I will need to study more. A goal of mine as we get closer to NCLEX time, is I plan to look further into Pharmacology as this is a weakness for me, and to look at the different drug classes and their adverse reactions. I plan to take more practice exams and questions on my own to familiarize myself with the material and commit it to application and memory. For the next pharmacology practice exam, I plan to review my remediations and see which medications I was getting wrong and practice those. I took longer than expected on this exam, but I also allowed myself for a break halfway to reset which is important. I am hopeful to do better in the next one and to be successful on the proctored exam.
